UCTI Humanity & Awareness Month

UCTI Humanity Week’s goal is to create awareness and raise funds for various causes. Each day is dedicated to a particular cause. Money collected on each of the days will be donated to the respective foundation:

1. Monday – AIDS (Pink Triangle)
2. Tuesday – Cancer (CancerLink)
3. Wednesday – Unprivileged Children (Angels Home and Shepherds Home)
4. Thursday – Refugees (Save Educational Centre run by Ms Deborah Henry)
5. Friday – Nature (SPCA)

Charity Concert is to be held on Thursday, 25th June, at 5pm.

Celebrity guests – Ms Deborah Henry and Mr David from “Alley Cats”.

The concert will involve modern performances.

All the collections from the concert will be donated to “Angels Home” and “Shepherds Home” orphanages.

Dinner Auction will take place during the Charity Concert. To register as a bidder, you may proceed to the Student ARC booth.

You may also dare your friends to do what you want for charity!

Humanity Week Daily Activities (from 10am – 4 pm):

• Money and Groceries donations
• Carwash (Tuesday – Thursday)
• Blood Donation (Monday – Wednesday @ Social Space, next to Cafeteria)
• Shoe-polishing
• Henna painting
• Manicure
• Body Art
• Vintage Sale
• Desserts
• Recycling
• Caricature Art

-       Submit your donations on Student ARC booth from 9th -19th June

-       Belongings must be in good condition

-       Volunteers are welcome to join fund-raising activities
